What is the organization aiming to attain?
We are defended to working to meet the needs of the people of Rhode Island. Our investments of funding, and our institutional investments beyond grantmaking, are aimed at the following: for economic security, long term, demonstrable improvements in household fiscal stability and household wealth; in educational success, long-term improvements in educatee achievement, the quality of educational environments, and coordination within the sector; and in healthy lives, improving health outcomes for Rhode Islanders, providing amend care, and lowering costs. In all three areas, nosotros volition look for equity to be demonstrated in the reduction of disparities across our measures/outcomes.
What are the arrangement'due south fundamental strategies for making this happen?
We are focused on discretionary grantmaking in education, wellness, and economic security; responsive grants to address urgent community demand, emerging opportunities, new ideas, and proven programs in the nonprofit infinite; community grants for community-building activities in cities and towns throughout Rhode Isle; raising more funds to farther address community needs; and working with generous Rhode Islanders to help them fulfill their philanthropic goals.

We have more than 100 years of community cognition and experience, a dedicated team of professional community builders and philanthropic advisors, and a delivery to improving the lives of the people of Rhode Island.
